Becoming or Already an Entrepreneur?

A research study about how some entrepreneurs, and not others, are more active with the identification as well as exploitation of business opportunities and founding of a firm

As you are in business for yourself, you are invited to share what it takes to be a founder or owner/manager of a small or medium business in South Africa. Once you have completed the survey, you will then be provided with the six essential behaviours of great entrepreneurs. You will also have the option to enter your name into the draw to win one of four copies of a truly South African e-book on creativity and innovation (each worth R379).

South Africa will need high levels of entrepreneur behaviour activity to curb low economic growth and high unemployment. Therefore it is important to be able to identify and measure individual entrepreneur behaviour. This research by the University of Pretoria sets out to do so.

The entrepreneur behaviour survey will require approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete. There is no payment for responding or disadvantage in taking the survey, nor is there any known risk in taking the survey. All your responses will remain anonymous and confidential. The data will also be aggregated or combined and no individual or institution will be identifiable, when the results are published in academic and professional journals.
